Maddie Hair is a Program Assistant for The Dignity Index, and has been working with the team since the pilot project in 2022. She was the first President of Students for Dignity, a group based on promoting dignity on university campuses.

Her political work experience includes The Utah Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget, Landslide Political consulting firm, The Association of Prosecuting Attorneys in Washington, D.C., Representative Andrew Stoddard in the Utah State Legislature, and Boise Mayor Lauren McLean.

Maddie graduated from The University of Utah in May 2024, earning an Honors Bachelor of Science in economics, health society and policy, political science, and psychology, with a minor in applied ethics. She is currently preparing for law school. Ultimately, she hopes to serve as president of a university or president of a political think tank. In her free time, she enjoys competitive swimming, alpine skiing, and inline figure skating.
