Development and Grants

Annalisa is responsible for fundraising efforts at UNITE. She is the founder and principal consultant at Connection Collaborative, bringing nearly 30 years of varied experience to her role. From her early career as a family law attorney, Annalisa learned a lot about human nature, conflict, collaboration, and problem solving. Later, as a university administrator, Annalisa led mentoring, community relations, organizational strategy, and fundraising departments. Her fundraising leadership roles have served organizations as varied as a small private liberal arts college to the nation's largest online university, as well as numerous nonprofits serving vastly different missions. Annalisa has learned to lean into her strength of aligning mission and storytelling with vision, strategy, and impactful change. She hosts a podcast - 92,000 Hours - that focuses on finding meaning and purpose in the 92,000 hours we all spend at work during our lives. She is honored to work with UNITE and the mission of the Dignity Index. When she isn't working, you can find her with her family exploring their new home in beautiful Bainbridge Island, Washington.
